The Company has a portfolio comprised primarily of common shares of Enbridge Inc. Enbridge, a North American oil and gas pipeline, gas processing and natural gas distribution company the Enbridge Common Shares or the Portfolio and intends to purchase Enbridge Common Shares from time to time in the market or through participation in future public offerings by Enbridge. The Advisor believes that the Company offers investors an opportunity to gain exposure to Enbridge, one of the worlds largest energy infrastructure companies.

Obscure....thanks for the heads up.

I don't own any ENS prefs but do own ENB prefs as I have mentioned before. I added to those holdings about three weeks ago and they are up 8.5% since then.. While I expect the SP of these prefs to go up further as interest rates decline over the next year, I think the recent move reflects anticipation of at least one rate cut later this year I am not expecting much more price appreciation for another 3-6 months. I would expect the same would hold for split share preferreds.

in that vein I agree that determination of a raise by Middlefield going forward will depend on the premium to NAV for the commons so this price action needs to be closely monitored.
