It specializes in the development of conventional oil pools using polymer flood enhanced oil recovery to maximize production and oil recovery. Its oil assets are in southeast Alberta, Canada. Buffalo is its core area, located approximately 85 kilometers north of Medicine Hat. The property has three oil pools, both producing under Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) schemes, that are fully delineated by vertical wells and defined by three-dimensional (3D) seismic. Its wholly owned subsidiary is Hemi Energy Inc.

Buy before the X-date and get the dividend.  Or buy after distribution and hope for a lower valuation.  Technically HME is worth ~$3M less after distribution but if shareholders take their div and reinvest then the share price can go up too. Or, do both. :)   The stock is undervalued by any valuation method and no-one is shorting.  Early special div. suggests we might get another before year end.  So thats a >9% return.
