So, in addition to RBC, amongst others, liking ARTG, here'sanother analysis who like v.ARTG too...Fidelty's Gold Portfolio Manager,Colin Anderson.
Certain gold producers are expected to debut new mines in the coming months, lifting their outlook for revenue and earnings, says Fidelity’s Colin Anderson. At the end of May, Anderson is particularly bullish on a handful of smaller gold producers establishing new operations in a lower-risk jurisdiction, which he perceives as being more stable and less likely to be disrupted or shut down by foreign governments or other geopolitical influences.
Among them is Artemis Gold (ARGTF), a Vancouver-based gold development company that is expected to open the Blackwater Gold Project in central British Columbia in the coming months. It owns 60% of the project, and the company said it was 98% complete as 2024 began.
“In July 2023, Artemis was forced to suspend the construction of its new Blackwater Gold Project for a few weeks due to wildfires in the region,” says Anderson. “However, it resumed construction thereafter and is now nearing gold production.”
