Great points, and from last week's update/Investor Q&A, the higher power level plasma torch system is very interesting:

Answer 5 regarding the plasma torch system with a significantly higher power level (between 15MW to 25MW with a potential contract value of between $15 to $25 million) shows the speed in which PyroGenesis has been able to develop and offer up higher powered torches. 

Previously, PYR offerered torches around 1MW in power (2020 ish), then PYR came out with the 3 MW torch.  Last summer PYR landed a contract for a 4.5MW torch for a  "... a U.S. aeronautics and defense entity who regularly serves as a prime contractor for the U.S. government as well as for public and private customers in the aeronautics and related industries."

This spring when PyroGenesis attended TMS 2024 in Florida, PYR was offering torches up to 5MW in power.  Keep in mind PYR has some of the most plasma expertise under one roof and it is very impressive that PYR has been able to go from 1MW to 5MW in a couple of years.  And now PYR is bidding on a plasma torch system between 15MW to 25MW.

#3)  EAF - Electric Arc Furnace Application

 

"...to assess the applicability of PyroGenesis’ fully electric plasma torches for use in the client’s manufacturing facilities as a primary heat source in the steelmaking process, specifically during the production of direct reduced iron (DRI) for use in electric arc furnaces (EAF)

The duration of the study is approximately 60 days, commencing in April 2024.

Once the study is completed, and contingent on the results, the client has indicated that it may proceed to a live experimental validation study within their facilities, using PyroGenesis’ plasma torches, as per a separate to-be-negotiated agreement
