Yup well said.  If you want the comfort and piece of mind of an investment then buy a good old fashioned dividend paying stock.  They are perfect for a good steady retirement monthly or qtrly income stream. Little risk but steady and rising dividend.

But it does very little when you are trying to grow your portfolio and rely on capital appreciation. That is where the real money is.  Make your money on fantastic growth stocks like Hiti when the opportunity presents itself like now.   Yes it sucks holding for 3.5 years here and have nothing to show for it.  Opportunity cost of holding?   Maybe.  Maybe not too.

The returns that come from a solid stock rebound after holding a few years can easily outweigh the 3.5 years of holding here with no returns.   Sometimes you have to suffer the "pain" before you enjoy the "gain" - Rick Rule (Sprott Asset Mgmt)

"Sonetimes you have to learn to walk before you can run"

I have always said the best investor in this world is "yourself" once you have done your own DD and thorough research.  Listening to the media and BS out their is just noise and distractions that serve no purpose but enrich the already wealthy or those who made the wrong decisions but love to take others diwn with them too (misery loves company).  Tune the distractors out.

If you believe in Raj and Hiti, then why are you worried?  Raj has more skin in this than us.  He is down huge too.  Is he worried!  Nope.   Is he confident?  Hell yes.  So am I.  Investing is all about mind over matter!!!!!!!!!

Being invested in markets and reading up on the physchology of human behaviour helps tremendously.  You learn to control your emotions and ignore the BS out there.
