What's there to be confused about.?

Most countries accept the US Dollar as the common currency. The Bomber was/is an International company, (planes, trains, and snowmobiles) and dealt mainly with the US. So, hence their utilization of US currency. It came in handy with FS as well.

Look up how they get the multiple, it's easy.
