RE:What's good about the capital raise/financing

RE:What's good about the capital raise/financing

I thought the new financing would be seen as positive by the market but if it was a factor in today's late day surge in the price, but also acknowledging that trading volume was low.

If I didn't already have a signficant position in ORE, I'd be a buyer of (more shares) as ORE has been successfully working through it new mining/plant operations. Plus, equally important, perceived BF country risk has fallen.  The fact that new west African/BF investor group acquired an almost 20% ownership at a premium to market indicates their expectation of significant share price appreciation potential, partly due to their presence in govt interactions.  Their presence will be invaluable in discussions with the govt.  Usually in similar situations, the local shareholders want shares at a discount, given the value the group brings in country relations.  ORE might finally starting moving up.

Then again, I may be totally wrong.  If anyone has other explanations for today's late day jump I'd be curious to know.
