RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:DEEP POCKET JV NEEDEDThanks StevenBirch, very good post...
I don't understand the people on this board that keep trying to discredit TLT management(CEO).
The average time-line for FDA approval of a new drug is 12-15 years.
TLT started the animal toxicity test in 2014(10 years ago).
TLT treated the first patient(phase1b trial) march 30, 2017(
7 years ago).
The above mean that TLT in 2024 is way ahead on the FDA approval time-line.
TLT is already inside the FDA, and is waiting for data that will confirm the pre-BTD and BTD approval( and the FDA is only asking TLT to double-check its 450 days data...just a formality).
All the above mean that TLT management did a very good job, and is worthy of high regard for what they achieved with so little money available compared to some Big Pharma that have unlimited budget.
I love my TLT shares. The FDA threw a small curveball with the data collection and that has cost time and money so in MY opinion this is not a management thing. But the money we need to really move this forward needs that data and that FDA approval. So we wait.
A lot of us have been wowed by the science for 8+ years and can't believe that other people don't see what we see. But I think there are people who see exactly what we see and until the requisite data and approvals come in they are content to buy the stock here and maybe participate in the many PPs, better for THEM at this price than 40 cents, 60 cents, you name the price that would make others happy. THOSE people are controlling the price like it or not.
I think it's too easy to blame management and honestly if you really thought they were the problem why wouldn't you sell? If you the owned the stock in the first place? We have seen a lot of new and some 'old' names appear since they put out a slew of positive updates that had NO impact on the stock price, coincidence? As stated above we know why those updates had no impact on the price but they were reassuring none the less.
The time it has taken for this to come to fruition, and we're not there yet, is an eye opener for me and I know there are some who have been here longer than me but that's on me as an investor. For me it's simple, you either believe in Roger or you don't. I do because I don't see a bogeyman around every corner and the science is solid.

What the company could really use is a complete new board of Directors. We need to invite a fresh set of Directors who are chosen for their knowledge, experience in the Pharma industry, public health agency of Canada, Federal Government... Typically we need more Directors with fresh set of ideas who can act as a Catalyst to move forward and get the approvals from Health Canada and FDA. The only way to do this would be at the next AGM. If you are not convinced about their achievements so far, simply do not vote for their re-election to the Board.
