What is important is proper spacing between drill holes, so they would have to spend a ton of money just to get that done. Some people are to cocky for their own good.

spacing is important and with high grade you need to drill closer in spacing meaning more drill holes
But this amazing team has come up with directional drilling technique that allows them to use existing holes and then turn from vertical to horizontal drilling giving a lot more info this has just begun
so the deep holes that they drilled vertical over the last 6 weeks and continue to drill, will be drilled horizontally at some point and give a lot of info it's like they did with the trenching and removing the overburden except down deep they can also go horizontal at different depths and multiple times in the same hole this technology is another game changer
