Victoria Gold Corp. is a gold mining company. The Company’s flagship asset is its 100% owned Dublin Gulch property, which hosts the Eagle, Olive and Raven gold deposits along with numerous targets along the Potato Hills Trend including Nugget, Lynx and Rex Peso. Dublin Gulch is situated in the central Yukon, Canada, approximately 375 kilometers (km) north of the capital city of Whitehorse. The property covers an area of approximately 555 square kilometers and is the site of the Company's Eagle and Olive Gold Deposits. It also holds a suite of other development and exploration properties in the Yukon, including Brewery Creek, Clear Creek, Gold Dome and Grew Creek. The Eagle West target area lies as close as 500 meters northwest of the main Eagle Gold Deposit and hosts the exposures of the granodiorite. The Raven target is located at the contact zone at the extreme southeastern portion of the Nugget Stock. The Brewery Creek Project is a past producing heap leach gold mining operation.

VG - HLP stacking ore in the winter

VG - HLP stacking ore in the winter

This is all for entertainment only, has no real  basis, and does not reflect on anyones reality.

It does not comment on any real events or people or refer to anyone now in existance or passed.  No opinion is presented or implied.

So for anyones entertainment only

If I remember from D1 of operations the HLP had a license to run the emiters through all four seasons with no new staking.
If I remember in 2022 that changed to allow stacking during the winter.

No comment on the what happened to any snow that might have acccumulated, but it is probable that that the "new" winter process would have had approved and had sealed directives issued with eng sign off  about the snow. Was there snow inbetween the layers that's a quick question to the mine manager for resolution.

This is the stuff usually does not happen.

That site was deliberately  ignoring the consultanting eng's directive
The snow should have been cleared but wasn't
That management went "wild" and just did things on site that were crazy and just insane.

In the meantime lets see what the "incident" reports say.by FN, YTG, EMR, VG.
The investigators will have a takeway and "eventually' come up what happened and recommendations.
Then it will be up to FN, by FN, YTG, EMR, VG and people to see if they want to move forward.

I suspect that as there is a large(ish) environmental vocal group in the YUKON they will also voice what they want.

I also beleive I saw a document were the process was change?  Not sure.

Here's the Canadian MIning article.
