RE:RE:RE:Submission Update

RE:RE:RE:Submission Updatehaha. The one and only has been in hibernation mode since the Victoria Gold fiasco...what a travesty,....now we got drunks and drug addicts working at that mine....no one follows safety rules...plenty of warning signs, etc.

At least for Casino....i believe permitting body will realize grown ups will develop it. If i was on board though...I'd say permitts are contingent upon Rio, BHP, or others that are adults being the only one who can build it. NO MORE of the Mickey Mouse operators working on the "cheap".

Anyway, i sent this to Sandeep just now. I'll let you know what i hear.

Hello Sandeep
I hope all is well in Canada!

Quick question – please interpret this for me. Kind of concerned ---- it appears as if YESAB is pushing US to move permitting along. I would hope it would be the other way around.
Please confirm are we falling behind on permitting tasks or ???

Dear Ms. Shaw: Re: Submission Date for Environmental and Socio-economic Effects Statement As per your November 10, 2023, correspondence, the Executive Committee (EC) understands that Casino Mining Corporation (CMC) intends to submit the Environmental and Socio-economic Effects (ESE) Statement for the Casino Mine Project in the second half of 20241. The EC understands this to mean that the ESE Statement will be submitted anytime between July 1 and December 31, 2024.

Now that we are within the period CMC has identified for submission of the ESE Statement, we request greater clarity regarding the anticipated ESE Statement submission date. As you are aware, EC must take several steps immediately on receiving the ESE Statement and accordingly, must have staff and EC members available. Please provide the anticipated submission date for the ESE Statement so that we may ensure that appropriate resources are available and ready to move forward with the review process.

Further, if the submission date should change, the EC requires notification a minimum of 21 days prior to the date scheduled for the filing of the ESE Statement, as per Rule 16 of the Rules for Reviews Conducted by Panels of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board. If you have questions, please contact us via our Acting Panel and Hearing Manager, Amy Ryder at amy.ryder@yesab.ca.
