RE:RE:Passing TimeGood grief this is really stretching it - as usual. Copper is already efficiently recycled to the point of theft from buildings - no doubt it could improve in a few places like most things humans do, but not enough to have significant impact on the market. The increase in demand for copper has to be met by new mine supply because so much is needed. We have it and are going to have a lot more of it from Western Forelands. Having the Inga hydro plant firing on more turbines will be so good for us and for the DRC.
I see there are already hydrogen/air fuel cells (..platinum) for powering very large freight trucks. Can fuel cell powered airplanes be far behind? How long before Platreef becomes the focus for the next critical metal/s? The worlds largest known precious metal ore body, soon to be turning out metals critical for transport. If you want to generate or move electricity, store electricity, or make it at point of use with a fuel cell, Ivanhoe Mines will be there supplying critical minerals to enable it. And if we don't have it then I expect Ivanhoe Electric will.
I do miss Topadvisor. Things have changed and we could do with one of his share price estimations - I'm pretty sure my ideas are on the low side.
