New management and new acreage. Or a recap. Or a gas price spike, maybe. 

The market does not even see this company any more. Mediocre to very poor results, rinse and repeat.

some board renewal with a merger would get some attention. 

Spartan did a reasonable job with assets that broke other companies. 

Too bad the equity price is so low. Still say the best idea for them is too take over some production assets with large ARO obligations. Then they could use the OFS division to reclaim the well sites at a huge discount. 

If it is really a competitive advantage to have the OFS group then use the dam thing.
