RE:RE:Cutting out the NoiseNukster...good to hear from you....!!
A couple of comments and clarifications...
1....I didn't suggest investments in renewable energy investments and in fact stated in one post that I had I considered them overpriced and had sold my invesdtment in renewables eg for ine name Brookfield Renewables for a profit a couple of years ago and I will admit that I have played a couple of price swings in it just the same I have done with SU over the last year or so but don't currently own it. I do feel that their price is declining to the point where they are worth following as potential longterm invsstments but they are not quite there yet.
More importantly what I repeately said was to look for investment in companies with solutions to the problems generated by the Government's Green Agenda - something very different from your interpretation of what I said.
2...As for oil consumption, I never said that oil consumption would drop in the past couple of years. I said that the growth would likely slow and eventually decline over the long run as the impact of Government regulation kicks in. Again something quite different from your interpretation of what I said.
As for accepting boos....I have no trouble accepting them as my agenda is to give people things to thing about to help them make better investment decisions - something I don't really see in your posts. In addition, as a close friend in the business said to me many years ago when I starting out...."If somebody figured out the market, they will change the locks". Meaning nobody is right all the the time and that is certainly true in my case. The trick is to try to be right more than you are wrong and that your wins are greater than your bad decisions.
