As an investor I love to see low costs but not at the cost of damage in other areas.  Think about Boeing - their target fixation on "low cost" has lead to the huge problems.  Pilot wages have fallen far below the industry average apparently.  Not fixing this has the potential to lead to bigger problems for the company down the road.
