RE:VEREN had decent results and yet???

RE:VEREN had decent results and yet???Certainly large debt is a concern, but I don 't think it is the key issue when it comes to stock price moves right after quarterly results.  The key issue is performance to plan: did the company do what they said they would do in the last quarterly report, and the quarterly report before that?  If not, then their guidance for the following quarter--no matter how rosy and/or likely--has little credibility with potential new investors, who are the people who can rerate the stock.  Those folks may only look at quarterly reports, perhaps unless the company formally publishes updated guidance in mid-quarter, whiich Baytex has not done.  Baytex needs to earn a rerating by meeting or exceeding its publicly stated jgoals.
