Victoria Gold Corp. is a gold mining company. The Company’s flagship asset is its 100% owned Dublin Gulch property, which hosts the Eagle, Olive and Raven gold deposits along with numerous targets along the Potato Hills Trend including Nugget, Lynx and Rex Peso. Dublin Gulch is situated in the central Yukon, Canada, approximately 375 kilometers (km) north of the capital city of Whitehorse. The property covers an area of approximately 555 square kilometers and is the site of the Company's Eagle and Olive Gold Deposits. It also holds a suite of other development and exploration properties in the Yukon, including Brewery Creek, Clear Creek, Gold Dome and Grew Creek. The Eagle West target area lies as close as 500 meters northwest of the main Eagle Gold Deposit and hosts the exposures of the granodiorite. The Raven target is located at the contact zone at the extreme southeastern portion of the Nugget Stock. The Brewery Creek Project is a past producing heap leach gold mining operation.

Well Husky, not sure why you see this as such a mystery. Seems pretty simple to me. The hire occurred as per the announcement on June 10th, 2 weeks before the slide event when the company obviously had a way different vision of their future.

My guess is that the hire was a result of all the flack VG Management and the BoD Chair took at the annual meeting about the lack of communications and a direct request by a shareholder on the call for VG to hire a communications person (don't think they meant a VP but hey when you add VP infront of a title, novice investors see them having a lot of clout so maybe that's behind the VP hire?

I highly doubt Liz will be joining VG now on Aug 1st given the circumstances unless she's willing to work for shares. On the other hand if this company is going to survive this mess they're going to need a whole lot of cash and communicate much better. Guess we'll see on Aug 1st.
