RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:API Inventory:Sure Qunite, I'd say my likely scenario has a much much greater possibility than the usual standard lines that you suggested. I've said some factual things that has been shared by the Russians, media and experts in Russian affairs. Such as Russia will never give Crimea back to Ukraine, that is off the table, mostly because of defensive strategic needs as their nuclear fleet is there and they know Ukraine will gravitate to the West and NATO. That is fact, as for the remainder of the outcome it is quite uncertain but at some point the war would have to end based on a settlement, or does this go on for a decade. Why not enlighten us on that?
On the other hand your idea of Russia trying to conquer all of the balkans and Europe is based on the outdated USSR expansion policies mostly driven to instill fear to support the war effort in Ukraine. From the Russian perspective, the Bulkans pose a threat to Russia if they are or will join NATO because NATO was created to counter the USSR so Russia obviously also feels threatened, justified or not. Russia has stated they have no expansion plans but will act militarily if they feel threatened. I'm pro West but I seem to recall historically that US would go into countries, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Central America to name a few, justified for security reasons. We may be on the correct side of the ledger but Russia no differenty feals the same.
The notion that Trump is somehow cozy with Russia is pure politics and factually proven incorrect from previous posts by actions. That said he is willing to forge some sort of peace process compared to the west that continues to endlessly fund an expensive war, at the expense of decimating Ukrainian men, and the county. Biden's remarks of funding Ukraine for as long as it takes - is optically ok but in reality what happens when they run low(er) of military men?
At any rate I'm done with this topic, but will be watching what unfolds energy wise and basing that on my positions with CJ and other oil stocks.
