RE:RE:RE:RE:Debentures vs commons - a question"In this particular case though, it wouldn't surprise me if Armoyan was behind the recent run up in stock price."

If he is buying we will see it in the insider trades tracking.  I don't think he is.  Normally the Armoyans post rapidly.

Is your complaint = he might be buying up shares and increasing the price and value of the company?  Seems peculiar.

"He did, after all, use his insider status to bid on Slate properties"

Welch says George voted against a bid for a building then bid at a slightly higher price.  1)  Not illegal  2) no harm done  3)  REIT benefits by slightly higher price.  I don't see how this is detrimental to the REIT or share holders.

"and one company in particular, ATN Group placed a bid and Armoyan didn't reveal he controlled the company?"

1) That isn't illegal  2) Perhaps he is concerned that Welch, who appears to "hate his guts", would torpedo the sale out of spite.  How is the REIT harmed by this?  I can see how the REIT would be harmed if Welch torpedoes George's bid, and a sale fails to materialize.  Perhaps I'm missing something.

"How can anyone not become cynical after reading of such maneuvering?"

You seem biased against Armoyan affecting the perception of anything involving him.
