July Highlights A message from the CEO: July Highlights
July was an eventful and productive month for Progressive Planet and me personally. My travels took me from the historic city of Rome to the innovative hub of Salt Lake City. Visiting the Pantheon, the inspiration for PozGlass, was an incredible experience. Witnessing the dome, standing the test of time without rebar, was truly awe-inspiring.
In Salt Lake City, I met with John Lair of Momentum Recycling. John is helping us design our Pilot Plant for converting post-consumer glass into PozGlass, a key step in our sustainability journey.
July was also a month where we fought excessive heat with outside temperatures exceeding 40 C on multiple days. Significant effort was made to ensure our valued plant operators had ample opportunity to stay cool. This included investment in additional equipment to cool down our production areas. Lots of ice-cold Gatorade, was provided and consumed by our thirsty operators and extra rest breaks were also given.
The excessive heat was a constant reminder of our mission to reduce climate change by bringing PozGlass into commercial production.
Thank you for your continued support and stay tuned for more updates!
