Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

Claudia Sahm rule

When the Sahm rule has been triggered the stock market has proven to be a horrible investment over the next 6-12 months. In a future post I may go into more detail and show what happens 6 and 12 months for stock market returns at the month the rate was triggered.

Maybe the naysayers will tell you this time is different. Don't believe them. It's all about placing your bets with the highest likely outcome.
