RE:RE:Press release from First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dunbadger,

You're right this goes a way deeper than first blush. Regards First Nations the current movement is towards "full partnerships", I  actually don't see any thing wrong with it, as long as it improves things.

Best

in my opinion only

HoneyBadger77 wrote: You got that right Husky....and YTG and EMR should be freakin.  As I've previously posted YTG and EMR will no doubt have liability here as well since it is their responsibility to review and approve the mine build and to closely monitor it and the company once in operation to avoid this level of environmental incident.  What?  This is now the 3rd or more of the Yukon mines that has had serious environmental problems that YTG and EMR have been dealing with?

The lack of a detailed Emergency Response contingency plan for this 'Unlikely Event' that should have been created by EMR, available to the company and put into effect immediately following the slide and embankment collapse is arguably negligent and you can bet that VG is going to rely on that lack of plan when they explain in court how there was no detailed formal plan and they did their best to contain the slide material and solution while waiting for YTG and EMR to provide direction.

FNs knows full well that the YTG has got way deeper pockets than VG and if FNs is going to get their cash windfall out of all this then they need to crank it up a notch and include the YTG in their list of culprits.  Make no mistake here, the FNs are after more than just the environmental clean-up.

The lawyers are going to get rich on this one no doubt.

My opinion only.  DYODD

No wonder YTG is Freakin.
