RE:RE:RE:Premiers Speech no source cited WRNrack,
So right.
For sure if you are involved in junior mining plays, get out now. Especially in the Yukon, the mining industry will taka HIT, like it or not. The SPEECH says it all. What a sad attempt at a CYA.
YTG is using the VG HLP collapes as a platform to talk of greed, corner cutting and all sort of thing unbecoming. When in fact the c-suite and bod and shareholders or engineering have not been accused legally of anything and I don't see any convictions pending. I can visualize the headline now Premier sued for defamation... ;)
The short sellers (traders, Banks, Investment houses, hedge funds) are not specific to VG, it's just convenient, they are also looking at anything they can drag down and are going to have a hayday. Will the GDP of the Yukon take a hit, oh ya baby, it'll be like Faro and the rest all over.
The "traders" are not about ethics or anything, it's bout getting money out of the pockets as quickly and as rapidly as possible. Look what happed to the up tick rule in Canada. They want the MONEY into the coffers, yours.
This "speech" was so "loaded", it was crazi.
"gas up their vehicles" um this is Canada - not some country where they sell gas on the side of the road in used Water bottles
"driven by the greed of corporate executives and shareholders – to cut corners, shirk responsibilities, and break the law.' - And who was on duty watching over the Yukon when this was all coming down for decades.
"feed their families," - one time we were the "BREAD BASKET" of the world, now it sounds like mining is feeding everyone. "And we all know how the Government of Yukon learned hard lessons following the closure of Wolverine" - obviously not hard enough.
And the drivel goes on and on. It fact it sounds hollow and doesn't ring true. It's sounds like a CYA of massive proportions.
"the Yukon is unique in Canada." - certainly is.
The Yukon (Canada) allows all sorts of "investors" to operate at will. In fact especially In junior mining, it's been going on a long time.
Screeching to get money out of the pockets of the unsuspecting "chechako's" and then having a good laugh.
In fact it appears all levels of Canada Government loves it, it's another vast income stream on the backs of the unwary investor.
If you love gambleing with the odds stacked against you, Welcome to Canada and especially the Yukon. They're waiting.

https://resourceworld.com/junior-mining-sector-responds-to-predatory-short-selling-launches-save-canadian-mining/ PS I have interest in only on miner in the Yukon and it's a 100+ y.o. Reason one it's an area that I owe a lot to they're cleaning it up, secondly it's based in the USA. I would touch any of the juniors right now with a shty stick. Why Because the "traders" know and can pull ALL plays down now and take your cash. Best
