With a nice dividend yield (4.59 percent) and a buyback plan coming, you have the twin engines working for you. I like the fact Aecon only has 62m shares o/s and coming down to 59m soon. Means the earnings per share will look that much better.
Will continue to buy on dips. Pissed off st myself for not buying at the $8.40 low about 1 year ago. Just thought it would go lower and had my limit price at $8. Oh well. Live and learn I guess.
Hopefully I get more buying opportunities to add if we continue to get pullbacks before the inevitable run. I like this one better than SNC when SNC was in the same position. Aecon has some very good projects coming down the pipeline and hopefully the risks are gone on future bid proposals.
Hoping we don't get bought out before this one takes off. Bigger returns will come from its own execution as a stand-alone company.
