What's needed is a 10,000-15,000+ point drop in the DOW

What's needed is a 10,000-15,000+ point drop in the DOWMaybe, just maybe then the FED will START to drop rates hopefully FASTER than they raised them.   
Many businesses can't wait another 2-3 years for rates to head back down to 1% or 2%.

1,000 point drop is nothing, DOW was up about 10,000 in a year.
