RE:RE:Alberta...Actually, a big reason we have the large forest fires is due to bad forest management.  "Modern" forest management make two big mistakers IMO - they don't let smaller fires that don't threaten people or structures burn out and they leave lots of wood in the forests that should not be there.

IMHO....it is a bit of a toss up as to whether all these fires are from climate change or bad forest management.
