Nevada Copper Corp is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in the development, operation, and exploration of its copper project (the Project) at its Pumpkin Hollow Property (the Property) in Western Nevada, United States of America. Its two fully permitted projects include the high-grade Underground Mine and processing facility, which is undergoing a restart of operations, and a large-scale open pit PFS stage project. The Property is located in northwestern Nevada and consists of approximately 24,300 acres of contiguous mineral rights including approximately 10,800 acres of owned private land and leased patented claims. Why would Pala have Nevada Copper file for chapter 11 instead of accepting a change of control proposal? As Moelis keeps stating in the court documents, the goal is to obtain the best value / price for substantially all the assets via competitive bidding. If filing for Chapter 11 to achieve this will yield a better sale price, then all we can do is literally wait and let the bidding process begin.

Trust me, I'm sure the creditors aren't panicking with this stalking horse bid, they all have way more money in this then we do, Pala especially. Additionally there is a sale hearing for anyone to contest the sale in case any one tries to attempt some shady nonsense - it will get reported...
