RE:The fear/greed index moves into extreme fear (24) territoryYep...the index has been there for about a week.  Since fear is a stronger emotion than greed, the index usually spends less time in this category then it does at the opposite end (Extreme Greed).

The fact that the VIX has calmed down to 20 which is a little above its normal average suggests to me that we will likely see the fear subside pretty soon.  So with that in mind, I am giving thought to picking a few targets with price inefficiencies and riding the next wave.
