After six and a half months and thousands of
people walking through nine access points:
281 guns, 2393 knives and 401 other
prohibited items (e.g., chemical
spray/mace, taser/stun guns) were found.
1245 visitors carrying weapons turned
around and chose not to try to enter
when they saw SmartGateway
1687 visitors alerted and returned to
their cars before they were processed at
secondary screening.
