PNT to build LFP battery cell production line

LFP batteries aimed at ESS are a relatively new business area for South Korean companies. Samsung SDI and LG Energy Solution recently started theirs, with the former making prismatic and the latter pouch LFP batteries aimed at ESS.

PNT plans to use water instead of NMP as a solvent to make the cathodes to be used in the cells, which is considered more environmentally friendly
