RE:RE:Hey MaplakHey Map
Of course I (and I'm sure a bunch of other readers) totally believe all your postings on what you hold and the moves you make and I think you're doing a very good job with your investing,
I read most of the posts and without a doubt Saide and Quinty both have serious issues. Sadie's biggest issue is that he is so obsessed with every little move and feels complled to give a blow by blow description. Not a healthy way to live and invest,
Quinty has a whack of issues with a couple being that he is one big arrogant guy that always thinks he knows more than anyone else. He also has a really hard time actually reading and understanding posts. (quite a low comprehension level :-)
I wouldn;t worry about arguing wiith either of them as they both are totally illogical.
Anyway, keep up your posting as I like to hear what you're up to and am hoping you continue to do as well as you have been.
As an aside, we have fairly similar invesitng strategies. My wife & I are retirees living ofd dividend income. We are 100% invested in 12 TSX dividend income/growth stocks. No fixed income/bonds.GICs, etc at all.
The biggest difference in ours vs your strategy is that we rarely sell. We are more than happy to continue to collect our big BCE divy. We would never sell unless they cut the divy by a significant amount.

A few days later I sold half to buy LIF . Yesterday I sold the rest of BCE and today I bought it back. Originally I was thinking to buy more DIV as I already own it in to accounts. They pay similar dividend like BCE. I should have done it just realized today was ex day . I could get $ 50 cash next month but as I mentioned before BCE is not my big holding. Definitely not stuck with it like majority of investors on this board. I have posted some of my biggest holdings below. I buy " dogs , semi dogs " and " eagles " divided stock. For example I own KEY up 95% and so on. I want to grow and preserve my capital while collecting dividends. Not just collect dividends for 5 years to find out the stocks lost 30-40 % of the value if I decide to sell.
