RE:RE:Investor day There was lots of discontent shown regarding the share price. Everyone is disappointed with where we currently are. There was no anger expressed at NFG about it.
When it comes to LAB if you read the news release it states that their property was acquired for shares so there's no reason to have asked that question. We were shown the long term Core Storage that came with the acquisition which is conveniently right next to the NFG Core Storage. They are analyzing that now.
i saw no need to ask about the hiring of a world class mine development officer as I see that as a positive since whichever route they eventually choose to go whether through developing it themselves or getting bought out , having him in place to me would enhance the project value. I did mention to Ron about the Osisko buyout. He said that Osisko was farther along in that they had done a large bulk sample and had gone underground as well. He also said to me that there aren't many buyout targets for the majors to consider so that's another one off the table.
i questioned as to why there was nothing else said about the Pine Cove mill. They said that agreement is still in place all options are being looked at. I asked about the permitting to do a bulk sample, Ron said it wasn't a complicated or long process.
The other points that were talked about was the stated goal of the NL government fo have 5 new mines by 2030 so they have been excellent to deal with. Also of importance is the fact that there are no indigenous claims on the land. The main Keats zone is about 500 meters from the highway. The deep drilling is actually going under the highway now but they don't expect that moving the highway would be necessary. There is a high voltage power line cutting right next to the property with a fibre op line running under that.
Overall what I took out of it was most importantly the gold is there. I saw lots of Vg. The infrastructure, jurisdiction, and lack of any claims on the land are huge advantages. They have sufficient funding for now and if the time comes that need to raise more capital they are confident that they can. They are advancing the project through continued exploration and patience is needed to get where we want to go. The big negative is obviously the current share price and lack of interest in the market for exploration.
