A lot of retail on the sidelines watching a melt-upLots of interested retail energy investors have decided to sit out the summer/fall on the sidelines anticipating bad news and volatility related to recession/election/Democratic policy. Many of them have posted on here with their rationale. I can understand the apprehension and it will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
But this bubble of investors watching and hoping for red days to confirm their decision will contribute to a strong rally if oil and energy share prices continue to rise as FOMO sets in as it always does.
Sometimes just the opposite of what retail is guessing happens. Perhaps more often than not.
