I can see where it may result in a revamped claimstaking procedure. They will not tear up the Mining Act, but I can see much compromise on the horizon.
However, Galleon is well past that part. The advanced permit process sequence repeatedly mentions negotiations with local indigenous factions. I would think those negotiations are well underway, if not complete. Talks began years ago.
I hope that all stakeholders decide to make some money now, while we're so close to approval. Let the courts and government hash out any legislative changes in the meanwhile.
