Will VG Eagle end up like Imperial Mt. Polly

First VG is no Imperial Metals and the VG collapse of containment was 2mcm vs 20mcm. 

But for comparison both were containment failures.

Compare the two and then think what is going to send "shock waves" through the industry. 

Considering VG was still trying to clean up the loss of containment and the free cyanide solution at Eagle when not one but two applicatons were made to force an appointment of a receiver(s), one by YTG at a federal level another by First Nations at a territorial level.

Want to talk about "sending shock" through the mineing industry at a global level well this is the way to do it.  I'm not sure if there ever has been a "tag team" match like this before?  It should also be clear if you read the news of The Yukon there is more afoot than "just a mine", there is almost a feeling of dislike.  The mine was just the catalyst of a larger issue.

The Yukon where everyone sues....

"Na-Cho Nyk Dun is suing the Yukon government for signing off on a mineral exploration project in its traditional territory, located roughly 100 kilometres north of Mayo. The territorial government approved it on Feb. 19."
