RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:TODAY’S NUMBERSA perfect summary. I only wish my shallow pockets permitted me to acquire more shares. However, I am confident I will benefit no less than the big dogs to a degree proportionate to my station. It amazes me that this stock is just hanging out there like a perfectly ripe fruit waiting to be plucked. How long can the precarious imbalance between low stock price and potential benefit last?

The synergies between Spectral and Vantive are impossible to ignore, from their Prismax pump, to our diagnostic, to our PMX cartridge, and eventually to their Oxiris cartridge. Then on top of that you have a very low margin company in Vantive to a very high margin company in Spectral. The table had already been set with Vantive gaining control of our distribution deal, the only thing that was missing was Vantive having a strong enough balance sheet to acquire Spectral, and Carlyle Group's deep pockets has solved that problem.
So for me the conditions are ripe for Carlyle Group/Vantive to acquire Spectral, and the only question is when. Does Carlyle Group wait until an unblinded trial is complete or do they approach Spectral before then? It's impossible to know, but I myself wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of that question, because that question might get answered when you least expect it.
