Highest Lithium Concentrations Recorded in Canada Having commenced a two-well drilling and testing program in Southeast Saskatchewan, EMP Metals (EMPS.c EMPPF) is aiming to further delineate a significant lithium discovery that boasts the highest lithium concentrations recorded in Canada, 237 mg/l.
With the goal to gather critical pressure, flow rate and fluid composition data from the wells for future engineering studies, the drilling will include both a vertical and horizontal well to assess reservoir pressures and depletion for a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) study.
Enhance understanding of the lithium potential in the area, this is a significant step forward in EMPS' efforts and understanding of the basin as the company aims to become a leading lithium producer in Saskatchewan, the 3rd most attractive jurisdiction worldwide and first in Canada.
