RE:RE:Legal?Interesting regarding that. I have called DM many times over the past year or so, many of the calls unanswered. For those which were answered:
1) When Marshall was at the helm and Park under him, I talked to Park directly albeit briefly. He told me I had the wrong number and that I had called a "paper factory". I got a hold of Marshall shortly after that, telling him about the incident and he ensured me nothing strange was going on. This was back when they had their old investor relations person (I believe her name was Priya) who we think was taking legal action against them (I don't recall the details now, but at the time I figured they were just being dodgy thinking I was a lawyer).
2) After the notorious November conference call when they announced aGPT was not getting any traction, I called and got in touch with Marshall. He assured me that the lights were on and the office was running, and gave me the address of the head office. He seemed overly cheery and certain. He had to run to a meeting, so that was the end of that.
I'm writing this to say that 1) even if you get in touch, they can say whatever they want and 2) you are unlikely to get in touch. I have sent dozens of emails over the last year or so, none of which have been answered. Never got an answer about demoing aGPT either, even when it was still supposed to be a real product.
I am only invoking the idea of legal because without some kind of official third party, we're just going to hear whatever they want to say. In fact, given how they'll even put out misleading press releases it's hard to believe one would think speaking to them would mean anything.
Over time on this board, I know people have mentioned that being on this exchange essentially precludes being accountable legally (something like the exchange is littered with scoundrels, so good luck). I just have a hard time buying it. Has anybody ever gone down such a road?
