RE:Gabriel de Alba???

RE:Gabriel de Alba???

Nice summary kcac.

Like you point out, Frontera owns ~92% of the Guyana opportunity via CGX shares and direct WI.

Surely Frontera won't have this entire opportunity go up in smoke, will they? If for nothing else, De Alba probably needs the money from any sale to close out various Series he still has outstanding.

Years of low balling CGX, leaving them always one dollar too short, has definitely backfired. Hell, Frontera's own approach to appraising Guyana was incredibly sloppy and opportunistic to say the least. No wonder the government is upset. They see how competent companies (Exxon Jv, Apache/Total) conduct business and then they see these two joker companies operate in Corentyne. It's clear De Alba and the staff working he has working with him are completely out of their league.

Hell, look at this link below: these guys are too lazy to update the regional map with Wei-1 or even have an updated PowerPoint presentation. For having spent all this money in Guyana, it's pretty pathetic how little they market the opportunity or even respect the process. Clearly the approach of being "secretive" has not yielded anything either.
