RE:fun with numbersI was reading an article about Warren Buffett buying more Occidental Petroleum.
It was about OXY's aquiring more land in the Permian Basin.
The author's view was it suited Buffet's methods and the Permian was not really oil exploration.
OXY knows the geology and knows the oil is there. It was just a matter of technology getting it out of the ground. The author said this was classic Warren Buffett because it is basically clipping coupons.
Warren has done very well at clipping coupons.
I view Tamarack land as quite similar.
They know the land and wells always produce.
With the exception of the one Seal well with a measly 40 barrels per day.
It is not exploration for TVE. It is just good ongoing business excecution of an excellent land position.
I am okay with clipping coupons.
If it is good enough for Warren it is good enough for me.
