Victoria Gold Corp VITFF

Victoria Gold Corp. is a gold mining company. The Company’s flagship asset is its 100% owned Dublin Gulch property, which hosts the Eagle, Olive and Raven gold deposits along with numerous targets along the Potato Hills Trend including Nugget, Lynx and Rex Peso. Dublin Gulch is situated in the central Yukon, Canada, approximately 375 kilometers (km) north of the capital city of Whitehorse. The property covers an area of approximately 555 square kilometers and is the site of the Company's Eagle and Olive Gold Deposits. It also holds a suite of other development and exploration properties in the Yukon, including Brewery Creek, Clear Creek, Gold Dome and Grew Creek. The Eagle West target area lies as close as 500 meters northwest of the main Eagle Gold Deposit and hosts the exposures of the granodiorite. The Raven target is located at the contact zone at the extreme southeastern portion of the Nugget Stock. The Brewery Creek Project is a past producing heap leach gold mining operation.

"It's over"; Victoria Gold hangs its hat

"It's over"; Victoria Gold hangs its hat

Is it because of this that YTG decided to put the hammer down on John McConnell?

"During the interview with McConnell, he defended this decision, citing safety concerns for Victoria employees to build it."

"We would never build a berm like that with no engineering," he said. "It's just totally irresponsible in our opinion."

"As the receivership takes effect, the impact on Victoria Gold's shareholders has been severe. They've been "wiped out," said McConnell. "Victoria Gold essentially doesn't exist anymore. They don't want to be responsible for a project that somebody else is in charge of.""

"Should the Eagle Gold Mine and the broader Dublin Gulch region become operational once more, the foundation built by Victoria Gold is one that won't be forgotten"  Sure sounds like somethings in the wings?

When all of this first started my immediate thought was get airborne in (you know those people that like to fly things into dangerous palces) and use "loc blocks" (they're 2.5t ea.) and start placing those suckers.  BTW thery're cheap usually made with returned ready mix and so on.

If Whitehorse didn't have enough then B trains from BC and Alberta would have got them to site in a few days.  Lafarge and Heidelberg and lots if independents would have been happy to help.  Why not they're always looking for free advertisements. <wink>

Bet everyone thought the cost was way to high. <sigh>

The real COST of all this crazi hasn't even started yet!

Who in their right mind is going to invest in The Yukon after this.

Is this a case of lets make sure VG can't even see straight?  Sure looks like it.
