RE:RE:RE:RE:YTG thinks Eagle can restart - the rub - under new owner.
rack,
I agree.
I feel any sloped HLF proposal in the future needs an immediate full tilt STOP!
It's apparent the tech along engineering and consultants use of it is suspect.
The only reason, I beleive it is used, is because it's a "cheap", some say cost effective, with low grade ore.
I did not know much of cyanide extraction with HEAPS until six weeks ago, my area of knowledge is more on floation processes in enclosed buildings, esp. in the Yukon.
There are other methods to create gold containing solutions using "containment" type processing, I believe there are such mines in Africa and Austrailia. If not be Canadian and invent something, we're great at that.
YTG, EMR, FN plus all the shareholders were dragged into this by the call of engineering, "have we got a solution for you".
It's new it's novel, it's great, it's got lots of cobbled together tech, it's cheap, trust us! Oh and by the way if it fails it's the mining company that takes the hit!
That said if YTG, EMR, FN want cyanide solution mining great that's their call, but for sure never, never again approve a dirt dam, with rubber on a slope, with 100's of million of ltr's cyanide solution creating pressure, it's garbage and can't be trusted. And this thang was only like 1/4 full!
