RE:RE:RE:RE:Why

RE:RE:RE:RE:WhySuper entertaining conversations.  Stock untradable likely worth zero moving forward and posters like this obsessing about how did Tom Brady tie his shoelaces.  Termination small talk, meaningless to current shareholders but I get it, distract oneself from the pain I guess is a warranted reason.

Or go back and read your 2 year old posts about how you felt management was taking on far too much risk at Eagle.  Hmmmmm.

heap leach failure on JM command, but yet this is all some FNNND and govt and others power move conspiracy to steal assets, lol.  Yeah ok.  Whateverrrrrr.

Still won't make you money back from random meaningless musings.

HoneyBadger77 wrote: Exactly Husky!   I'd be curious to know if JM was terminated 'With Just Cause' or 'Without Cause'.  And if 'With Just Cause' the Just Cause details...what? he refused to build their berm because he was rightfully concerned about doing so with no engineering and concerned for the safety of VG workers?   As you say Husky, no hearing or opportunity to defend himself or his actions?

If JM was terminated 'Without Cause' then these are the Labour Law rules in Canada:

Individual termination

If you are an employer and choose to terminate the employment of an employee, you must:

  • provide the employee with a minimum of 2 weeks’ written notice. For an employee who has completed at least 3 years of service, the minimum notice requirement is equivalent to 1 week per completed year of employment, up to a maximum of 8 weeks of notice, or
  • pay the employee their regular wages in lieu of notice

A combination of notice and wages in lieu of notice is permitted.

So if he was terminated 'Without Just Cause' the PWC Receiver had an opportunity to keep him around and pick his brain for 8 weeks BUT it seems decided to just pay him 8 weeks pay instead to stay home or go golfing.  Yeah I can see how YTG really wants to work with the company to get this resolved and get the company back into production.  Yup,  fire the CEO and just get him out of there as quick as possible so we can burn up more of VG assets chasing after information that JM could provide in a few days or a week!  Wouldn't want him around to see if you (PWC) are doing enough, fast enough, and good enough (the same microscope JM was under for 7 weeks that prompted YTG to seek receivership) now would you PWC?

The handling of this incident by YTG since June 24th has been nothing short of unbelieveable and it just keeps getting better.  Next thing we'll hear is that PWC sold all of VG assets to FN's for the equivalent of .10 cents a share (or $17 million CAD because no bidders came forward.  As you say Husky this whole thing stinks and there's another agenda at play here.  The Yukon Justice Minister's comments last week about it not being their intention to put VG out of business are missing the second part about it's also not their intention to help them stay in business either!   Only time will tell how this eventually all plays out but right now it looks like the fox is in the hen house!

In my opinion.
