Trading etc

Trading etcKeep in mind however, CRA has never qualified when they tag you as a trader or doing 'excessive trading'  There are no number of trades etc. CRA looks at your overal churning of account, duration of holding a position or not etc..  So fair bit of is judgemental ..

And this is not only limited to TFSA... It applies to your Cash or Margin Account as well..   Only your RRSP accounts, since it is tax sheltered account, they don't care much about..  Although TFSA is also tax shelter,  some people have turned it into a trading vehicle not to pay taxes and thereby drawing CRA's attention..  Never fails.. Some people start s c r e w ing a good thing..
