RE:Oilprice is definitely being manipulated! One should assume that every single market is manipulated. Successful manipulations can only occur when one manipulates a market in the direction that it already wants to go.
Our situation, as energy investors, is much like standing on the beach while the tide is coming in. Individual waves take days to weeks to occur, but the yearly trend is higher. Look at the current situation for the corporation (not the stock price!) of TVE. Compare it to a year ago, three years ago, and five years ago. The company is doing fine, the tide is coming in. Whenever we get near $70 oil there is always massive hand wringing in this board. Relax. Oil is pretty much boxed in between $70-90. We are near a bottom price here (I note that US storage levels are at 6-month lows). I suspect that in the next few weeks it bounces up again. My hat is off to the successful traders out there, I do better with a 5-year timeframe. I believe (do your own due diligence!!), based on the facts I have, that TVE will be massively higher five years from now than it is today. Don't get too excited about the daily noise.
