RE:Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) developments August 22, 2024 - Health Canada has granted approval of KEYTRUDA® (pembrolizumab), Merck’s anti-PD-1 therapy, in combination with enfortumab vedotin, an antibody-drug conjugate, for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic urothelial cancer (mUC) [bladder cancer] with no prior systemic therapy for mUC [bladder cancer].

Oncolytic virus has demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of bladder cancer, however treatment was delivered intratumorally through intravessical injection and not systemically through IV infusion as ONCY's pelareorep is admininistered.
