Alternate Symbol(s):  HPQFF

HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ) is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. The Company is engaged in developing, with the support of technology partners PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (PyroGenesis) and Novacium SAS, new green processes to make the critical materials needed to reach net zero emissions. Its activities are centered around the three pillars: becoming a green low-cost (Capex and Opex) manufacturer of Fumed Silica using the Fumed Silica Reactor, a proprietary technology owned by HPQ being developed for HPQ by PyroGenesis; becoming a producer of silicon-based anode materials for battery applications with the assistance of Novacium SAS, and Novacium SAS is engaged in developing a low carbon, chemical base on demand and high-pressure autonomous hydrogen production system. The Company operates in a single operating segment, segment, being the sector of the transformation of quartz into silicon materials and derivative products.

RE:RE:RE:RE:New HPQ video

RE:RE:RE:RE:New HPQ video Brush, the first GEN3 described the results of a maximum discharge capacity test. This last news release described the results during first 50 cycles of that GEN3 material.  Different test.  50 cycle tests were disclosed for GEN1 and 2 I believe so that may make it sound like repetition.

As I mentioned before, I read an article suggesting that the testing benchmark for consumer electronics is 800 cycles. Then I read elsewhere that the life span of Li-ion batteries is between 2 and 4K. So, many more cycles are required to be tested for certain type of applications.  For some, if there is only a one time use, I guess recharging doesn't matter.  It would be good if they explained and compared how long their materials hold the charge before needing to be recharged compared to others.  Right now I don't see that information nor the charging time.  But I am sure any knowledgeable parties contacting them will be asking at some point if not now.
