Macassa mine of the Abitibi district has the richest grades in Canada ...but its best gm meter index ranked below that of QWN
For a better comparison , I chose the 11 best intercepts of Macassa
and their intercept lenghts which matches the 11 best intercepts for QWN from 2020-23 as already posted
For Macassa, the average grade was 425 grams per ton and the average intecept lenth containing those grades was 3.7 meters for a gram meter average intercept gold index of `1574 gm-meters .
For QWN 11 best it was an average of 129 grams per ton times and an average intercept length of 19.6 meters amounting to 2535 gram meters gold index
in short, QWN lacks serious competitors for the best drill defined contained gold index
