Many long-term retail investors have suffered massive losses with TCF. Most of those TCF shareholders didn't make enough capital gains to ever offset those TCF losses for tax purposes. But the CEO who makes 100k/month and is responsible for a 5:1 split brags about his gains. Who the hell does he think he is? Halleran should deliver now and keep his Howe Street cronies like TD Securities, Anonymous and others away from the stock. He also mentioned that he's here to make money. Unfortunately, he forgot that those who backed him and bought TCF stock are now sitting on a pile of devalued shares and are also looking to make money and are now far, far behind him with their losses.
