I believe the Supreme Court will eventually rule the CIRB was wrong.  It won't matter of course because it will take a few years to hear that.

I said I didn't think the CIRB would do this and I would admit if I was wrong so, I do.  I was wrong about this.  

What this will ultimately mean for AC and ALPA is unclear; will the gov and the "independent" CIRB pre-emptively make the same ruling, will they wait for a few days of damage before they rule, will they decide the opposite?  We don't know.  That's if an agreement isn't reached before of course.

As an aside I wouldn't want to be running an organization with an extremely disgruntled workforce or running a country where 30% of the population belongs to a union and you have just trampled on their rights in this way.

It will be interesting to see Singh's response after his posturing during the lockout.
